Road Dust & Romance

There was a time when we were young, deeply in love, and believed that every road led somewhere beautiful.

We travelled to Spain to visit dear friends who lived just outside Barcelona. Their home stood on a small piece of land where life moved at its own gentle pace. They grew tomatoes, cucumbers, and fresh lettuce, and every evening we gathered around a simple table to share homemade salads, slices of Spanish jamón, creamy feta, incredible olives, and warm bread dipped in fragrant olive oil. With a glass of local wine in hand, those ordinary evenings became unforgettable memories.

Together, we explored Spain without rushing. Some of our greatest adventures happened on the road, living five of us in a tiny campervan that somehow always felt big enough. We chased new places each day, spent long, warm evenings talking beneath the stars, and woke to the first light of dawn beside the sea.

Looking back, it wasn't the destinations that made those days extraordinary. It was the people, the laughter, the freedom, and the feeling that life was beautifully uncomplicated. Dusty roads, endless conversations, and the romance of discovering the world together became memories we still carry wherever life takes us.

Sometimes, happiness isn't found in luxury. Sometimes, it lives in a campervan, a bottle of Spanish wine, and the company of people you'll never forget.
