Drifting Light

"Drifting Light" is dedicated to my sister's friends, who have always known how to enjoy life at a gentler pace.

For them, luxury has never been about excess. It is found in the quiet pleasures of a beautiful place, a good book, a glass of fine wine, thoughtful conversation, and moments that ask nothing more than your presence. It is the spirit of a disappearing bohemian world, where time slows down and every hour is meant to be savoured.

This photograph was taken in Preila, a peaceful village in Lithuania's beautiful Neringa. It is one of those rare places that feels almost unreal. When I captured this scene, I caught myself wondering if I was somewhere in the Philippines. Yet this was Lithuania—calm, untouched, and quietly breathtaking.

After sharing a glass of wine, the evening became even more peaceful. My wife and I had cycled there from Pervalka, following one of the most beautiful routes imaginable through fragrant pine forests, rolling sand dunes, and the endless Baltic coastline. The journey itself was every bit as memorable as the destination.

Some days quietly become part of who we are.

This was one of those days—a memory that will always remain close to my heart.
